So what did Thor mean by "I knew it?" In an early scene in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor gives the rest of the team permission to try to lift Mjolnir. Thor sits back, confident none of his teammates will prove worthy to wield the hammer... until Steve Rogers gives it a shot. Cap actually manages to nudge the hammer the slightest bit, something that doesn't escape Thor's notice. He looks worried for a moment, until Cap can't lift it any further, and Thor laughs, "Ha! Nothing!" That brief nudge, and past comic book stories in which Cap has proven worthy of Mjolnir, left some fans theorizing that Cap could've lifted the hammer.
WATCH THE VIDEO ON HOW HE DID IT WAY BACK
This confused us, it show in the Avenger Age of Ultron, beside Thor, Vision could lift the Mjolnir but when Cap lifted it he could use the hammer to bring out lightly just like thor but Vision couldnt remember Odin said when enchanted the Mjorlnir “Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor"the bring us to a theory that Captain America was not fully worthy to lift Thor hammer (that if there is a world as not fully worthy) because he was keeping the secret of Bucky, Cap telling Tony that Bucky killed his parents confessing to this in the civil war, he became worthy, however this theory have not be confirmed yet.
When Thor yells "I knew it!" he betrays that he thought Cap was faking it way back in 2015 as well.Cap almost lifted the hammer it was the moment Steve realize that he could lift it but he decide not to because of the respect of Thor ego, anyway this actually show that Steve had dignity and the smallest list proud in the Avenger team. he dose not have to prove his self to other and he was always ready to do the right thing and sacrifice is self for the benefit of humanity thats what made him always worthy.
